About
‘The Dark Rainbow Wave’ is a phrase that represents the mixture of feelings—capturing the raw, gloomy, and ambiguous aspects of ‘Dark’ and the vibrant, colorful aspects of ‘Rainbow.’
‘Darkness’ is concealed within the vibrant array of colors, yet the colorfulness set a stage for the emotions and ambience of darkness.
‘Wave’ signifies a force, which reflects the nature of colliding sensations being presented in the colorful works. A party of vibrant characters with hidden melancholy begin to submerge to create a collection of colorful drawings and sculptures.
The artist BUTTERRABBITZ has composed the elements of the 99 characters using freehand techniques, putting them in compositions that reflects her personal perspectives, as well letting viewers to freely delve into their imaginative space and create their own dialogues.
